Marrambidya is a heartfelt tribute to the Murrumbidgee River, a lifeline of Wiradjuri Country, flowing strong and steady beneath the glow of a breathtaking sunset. This original artwork captures the river’s journey, framed by towering trees that stand as silent witnesses to the stories carried by its waters. The soft archway, adorned with intricate white dot work, creates a window into this sacred landscape, inviting reflection and connection.
 
Hand-painted with care, Marrambidya measures 20cm x 25cm unframed and 23cm x 28cm framed, with a striking magenta-painted frame that enhances the warmth and depth of the piece. More than just an artwork, it is a moment in time—an ode to Country, water, and the ever-present spirit of place.
