1. Refund Policy
Teapots, Serving Boards and Other Hand Painted Items
As each item is hand painted to order, you may not receive the exact item as pictured. Whilst i try my best to replicate my design these may change as i see fit. As an artist and creative, i strive for all customers to be happy with their purchase and to appreciate the beauty, care, and time it takes to create one-of-a-kind products. Your new functional art piece is completely unique and a one-off meaning no-one will ever have the exact same piece as you, that is the true beauty of hand painted items. Being hand painted, your new functional art piece is will be perfectly imperfect- there may be a dot joined with another, a squiggly line instead of a perfectly straight one, the paint colours may vary slightly but that, my friend, IS the beauty of hand-painted products!

Please also note: colours may differ to how your computer/phone screen presents them. Refer to each product description for the colour description.

Little Black Duck does not accept returns of hand-painted products due to slight imperfections or for reasons as, or similar to, above.
​
Serving Boards are made from wood that can sometimes have its own unique characteristics and markings. Over time wood may naturally crack or fade. Little Black Duck does not accept returns or provide refunds for this.
Earrings
For hygiene purposes, Little Black Duck does not offer exchanges or refunds on earrings and jewellery. If your earrings are damaged upon receipt, please see instructions below.
Faulty and Damaged Items

Refunds and/or exchanges may be provided for items that are damaged upon arrival (damaged during transit). To be eligible for a refund or exchange please note the following:

1. Your item must be unworn, in the original packaging, and in the same condition that you received it.
2. Get in touch via email to littleblackduckaus@outlook.com within 7 days of receiving your product to initiate the return process.

​ - Provide your order number, a brief explanation of the reason for the return, and clear photographs if the item is damaged.
​
We do not offer refunds or exchanges for items that have been damaged by you or broken after regular use. However, if you do damage your products, please get in touch and i can advise you regarding repairing your items.

Purchases of sale items, seconds, samples or discontinued pieces are final. No refunds or exchanges can be made.

2. Shipping
Australia-wide Shipping
​
Little Black Duck offers postage across Australia using Australia Post services. As a guide only, Australia Post delivery times are typically between 2-5 business days (this is a guide only and does not include production time). I
f you need an item for an occasion i.e. birthday present, it is your responsibility to ensure you have allowed enough time for production AND shipping. Current production times are noted on shop pages and in product listings and may differ during busier times of the year.

Little Black Duck will not be held responsible for products not arriving on time.
Local Delivery and Studio Pick Up
Little Black Duck is based in Uranquinty NSW on Wiradjuri Country. Customers are able to arrange pick up from the studio after placing an order. A suitable time for all will be discussed via email and/or text.
I also offer local delivery to Uranquinty and Wagga Wagga for a small fee. Select this option at checkout.

Packaging
The utmost care is taken in packaging my products to ensure they arrive safely at your doorstep. I use a combination of bubble wrap, air packs, foam packers and foam wrapping. I am endeavoring to make Little Black Duck as eco-friendly as i possibly can also. This means i will recycle packaging where possible include product boxes, wrapping material etc.

3. How long will it take to get my order?
As a small business with a very small team (myself and one other employee) it does require time to produce each of your items. I have put in place a number of time frames for each product so you can rest assured of the time it will take to get your order created. Please take this into consideration when ordering. Please note however, that these timeframes are an estimate and may change due to circumstances and busier times of the year.

Candles: minimum 1 week production time. I may occasionally have some candles pre-poured so you may receive them quicker, however this is not promised. The 3 tier-ed Aboriginal candles are definitely a 1-week minimum also as they are a labour of love requiring 3 different pours!
​
Earrings: each pair of earrings are lovingly handmade in the studio. Allow upto one week for your earrings to be made.
​
Serving Boards: these take time! Not only do i prep and hand paint each board, i then also give it a luscious, glossy coating for you to protect your new piece of functional art BUT it also makes it completely food-safe for all those little morsels to take up the entire surface! Allow a 2-3 week minimum for your boards. As above, i may have some completed and ready to go, but again this is not promised.

Teapots: Ahhh my babies! Teapots are hand painted to order and take a minimum of 4 weeks each. Please note: if your order contains any of the above items, your order will take the suggested time of those items to be finalised.
​
Prints: Allow a production period of 1-2 weeks for prints.
​
All other items: Allow a handling time of 1 week for all of the reasons listed above!

4. Where is Little Black Duck based?
I am based in Uranquinty, NSW on Wiradjuri Country.
5. Custom Products
Teapots:
I offer custom AND/OR personalized teapots! See the Custom Teapot listing in the shop.

Candles:
I am able to offer custom candles through custom label design and/or signature scents for your events, corporate orders or gift-giving purposes.

Serving Boards:
If you would like boards painted to match your brand or logo, please get in touch to discuss colour options and/or design possibilities!

6. Copyright, Intellectual Property and Image Use
All images on this website are the property of Little Black Duck. I ask that you respect my intellectual property and ask for permission before using any images from this website. For image use, please contact LBD via the Contact Us page.
7. Wholesale
I love collaborating with other creators and sharing the Little Black Duck love around Australia and the world, but as majority of my products are hand-painted or hand-poured by me, they are very labour intensive and this is reflected in my retail and wholesale pricing.
