Gungil 'Grass' Dhangaang Serving Boards
Current production time: minimum 3 weeks
Add a touch of uniqueness to your family gatherings by presenting your snacks on these exquisite Acacia Wood serving boards, featuring my hand-painted Aboriginal designs. Whether you're curating a cheese platter, a grazing feast, or a fruit extravaganza – heck, go ahead and create a dessert platter too! #nojudgementhere #youdoyouboo 😂
Each board is meticulously hand-painted in regional NSW in Uranquinty, situated on Wiradjuri country, where 'dhangaang' translates to 'food' in the Wiradjuri language. Crafted with care using Acacia wood and adorned with acrylic paint, these boards are then clear-coated with a food-safe varnish for both aesthetic appeal and practical durability.
Measuring 54cm in length, 15cm in width, and 2cm in depth, these boards offer a generous canvas for your culinary creativity.
Please note that each board is created upon order placement, and the most current production timeframes (excluding delivery) can be checked on the Serving Boards page and at the top of this listing.
While we take pride in the unique beauty of wood, it's essential to recognize its living nature. Over time, your wooden item may undergo changes such as warping, cracking, or variations in color and grain pattern due to environmental factors like humidity and temperature. Rest assured, these traits do not compromise the artistic integrity but rather contribute to the individual charm. To ensure the longevity of your wooden piece, we recommend placing it in a stable environment away from extreme conditions.
As with any hand-painted design, slight variations, including differences in paint colors and design, may occur. Embrace these unique characteristics as they enhance the distinct charm of your individual piece.
Your support for small Aboriginal businesses is truly appreciated! #aboriginalbusiness #indigipreneur
