‘Gandhalwurr,’ my homage to the turtle, a creature of grace, patience, and ancient wisdom. Known as “gandhalwurr” in Wiradjuri, turtles hold a special place in our waterways and our culture. They move with purpose and steadiness, embodying the essence of resilience and survival across the ages.
