Goanna 'Gugaa' Artwork Print
The Gugaa (goanna) is a master of patience and adaptability, moving with quiet confidence through Country. In Aboriginal culture, it holds deep meaning as a teacher of survival, strength, and connection to the land. This artwork celebrates the Gugaa’s presence and wisdom, bringing a sense of groundedness and resilience into your space.
As our Wiradjuri totem, i have boundless inspiration for gugaa drawings. Often seen out this way crossing dirt tracks and steadily walking into the long grasses, they are peak stealth mode!
- Ashleigh Pengelly, Wiradjuri artist
