WIRADJURI LANGUAGE COLLECTION

A collection inspired by the rich cultural heritage and demonstrated wisdom of the Wiradjuri people, the traditional custodians of the land we call home. Each candle in this range bears a name rooted in the Wiradjuri language, serving as a tribute to the resilience, strength, and spirit of my ancestors.

At the heart of our Wiradjuri Language Collection lies a deep reverence for the land and the teachings passed down through generations. Our candles are more than just products—they are a reflection of our connection to country, our respect for the natural world, and our commitment to preserving Indigenous culture and traditions.

From Yindyamarra, meaning "respect," to Girragirra, meaning "happy," each candle carries with it a message of hope, joy, and education. These are the values that have sustained our people for thousands of years, guiding us through hardship and triumph alike.

As an Aboriginal-owned business, we believe in the importance of supporting Indigenous enterprises and uplifting our communities. When you purchase a candle from any of our candle ranges, you're not just buying a product—you're investing in a legacy and  supporting a small-town regionally based artisan.

I pay my respects to the traditional custodians of the land where Little Black Duck is based, the Wiradjuri nation. Their resilience and tenacity is an inspiration for all upcoming generations in leading the way.

Always Was. Always Will Be.
