Coastal Dreaming Candle

Introducing Coastal Dreaming: a journey through the inviting landscapes of Australia's pristine coastline. Imagine the whispering waves gently kissing the shore, where the air is infused with the invigorating aroma of tea tree, the zesty brightness of lemon myrtle, and the creamy sweetness of coconut.

Each Coastal Dreaming candle is a tribute to the natural beauty and native scents of Australia. The tea tree essence, with its refreshing and purifying qualities, evokes the feeling of walking through a sun-dappled forest after a light rain. Lemon myrtle, a native gem, adds a burst of citrusy delight, reminiscent of a warm, sunlit afternoon. The coconut brings a touch of tropical paradise, wrapping you in a comforting embrace of creamy sweetness.

Hand-poured with love and adorned with Ashleigh's unique artistic touch, this candle is more than just a fragrance—it's an experience. Light Coastal Dreaming and let your senses be transported to the serene beaches and lush landscapes that have inspired this captivating scent. Allow the natural, native aromas to spark meaningful conversations and fill your home with the spirit of Australia's coastal charm.

The finer details:

• 300ml

• Approx. 48 hour burn time

• Opaque white glass container with a timber lid to contain all that wonderful scent!

  • A great candle experience begins with proper candle care and maintenance. Here are some important burning tips for enjoying your Little Black Duck candle:

    1. Preventing memory rings.

Believe it or not, candles have a memory and the very first time you burn your new candle is the most important. Ensure you burn your candle long enough to completely melt the entire top surface of your candle. If the wax is not allowed to liquefy or to melt from edge to edge of the container, it will create a “memory ring,”. Once a candle has this “memory ring,” it will continue to tunnel and to burn that way for the life of the candle. And no one wants that!

    2. Trim your wick.

Before lighting, always trim the wick to 6mm and remove any wick debris as this encourages an even burn.

    3. Be safe.

Always burn your candle on a heat resistant surface, keep it out of drafts and NEVER leave it unattended while lit. Always burn candles well away from other heat sources, and anything flammable. Make sure burning candles are out of reach of children and pets.

    4. Goodbye is the hardest word.

KNOW WHEN TO SAY GOODBYE. When only 1/2" of wax remains, it's time to let your candle go. Discontinue use of a candle when ½” of wax remains at the bottom of the jar. This will prevent possible heat damage to the counter/surface or container itself. The glass can get hot on the bottom as the flame nears the base of the jar and most of the wax has been consumed. By following this instruction, the glass will not get too hot.

    5. Know your limit.

Candles should not be burned for more than four hours at a time. It is recommended that after burning for four hours, candles be extinguished, allowed to cool for two hours, and trimmed before relighting.
