The Flowers Will Die. The Story Won't.

Most vases spend their lives hidden in a cupboard waiting for flowers.

This one deserves a place in your home every single day.

Wrapped in the original 'By The Bila' Aboriginal artwork by Wiradjuri artist Ashleigh Pengelly, this vase was created for people who believe their homes should tell a story. The kind of people who collect pieces with meaning. Who'd rather own one beautiful thing than ten forgettable ones.

Place it on a shelf, dining table or entryway and watch what happens.

Guests notice it.

They pick it up.

They ask about it.

And suddenly you're talking about art, culture, Country and the artist behind the work.

Even without flowers, it stands proudly as a piece of functional Aboriginal art. Add a handful of gum leaves from the backyard, a bunch of natives from the markets, or your favourite seasonal blooms and it transforms again.

This isn't the vase you buy because you need somewhere to put flowers.

It's the vase you buy because it makes a room feel complete.

Created on Wiradjuri Country by Aboriginal artist Ashleigh Pengelly, each piece brings colour, culture and conversation into the spaces where life happens.

'By The Bila' celebrates the mighty marrambidya (Murrumbidgee) bila (river) that flows strong and steady through our hometown. Speckled with ceremonial sites upon its shores, secret beaches and places of lore, by the bila is a place that I want to be.
